OLLAA CLOSES OROMO REFUGEE PORTAL

Falls Church, Virginia – The Oromo Legacy Leadership and Advocacy Association (OLLAA) today announces with a heavy heart its decision to close the recently created Oromo Refugee Case Form portal on its website due to reports of misuse. The portal, which was created with the intention of giving refugees an avenue to pass on their details in a secure way, will be disabled from today onwards.

We wish to extend our sincere thanks to all those that have passed on their information so far and assure all respondents that we will be in touch directly with any developments in their case.

OLLAA does not condone any appropriation of our services for personal financial gain and condemns any such activity in the most stringent terms possible. Our goal as a nonprofit is to support those seeking our help to the best of our ability, and as such we utterly reject any attempts to profit from the misfortune of others.

OLLAA is an umbrella organization that represents Oromo communities around the world.
